The Griya, Sanur

Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai No. 402, Sanur, Bali,

I stayed here as I needed a night in Sanur before I went to Ubud. And I wish I stayed longer. Easily the best hotel I stayed in in Bali. AND I GOT IT FOR £10 A NIGHT! I got a huge room, king size bed, brand new bathroom and a view of this pool. It was amazing. AND IT WAS £10.(Usually rooms are between £38- £50 but if you book last minute they do flash deals)  It was way too big just for me though, and there was no breakfast included. But everything else was great. Also, Sanur is a really nice place, usually just used for stop overs or to catch a boat I feel like it is missed out by many. The beach is nice, the shops are great and it has a really nice relaxed feel about it. The Griya offer free transportation to the beach and surrounding areas. Highly Recommended. Book here

De Kuta Hotel, Kuta

Jl. Poppies Lane II No.8, Kuta, Bali

I have to be honest, Kuta isn't my favourite place in Bali. It kinda sucks. But we all have to stay there every now and then to catch our flights out. So when I do have to stay I stay at De Kuta as it is a little bit out of the hustle and bustle, yet near enough, and has a peaceful atmosphere. It also has a great restaurant and pool, with affordable rooms. Find out more and book here

The Pineapple House, Canggu

Jl. Subak Sari, Canggu, Bali 80361

Now I know I said I didn't like Kuta, but I LOVE Canggu. Only half an hour away from Kuta, but with a completely different style. Relaxed, peaceful and FULL of inspiration. The Pineapple House is a surf and yoga retreat, (however you can still stay just on a room basis.) It is a quaint personal place run by the amazing yogi Rachel Fearnly, who will be there to show you the best of what Canggu has to offer. Either take surf lessons, practise yoga or just chill out. This is a really special place. I guarantee you will come out already having booked your next stay. Find out prices and availability here
